Faces Not Forgotten artists paint portraits, “Faces”, of children, age 20 and under, who have died as the result of gun violence. The original portraits are donated to the families of these young victims to GIVE COMFORT. A copy of the original “Face” is graphically printed with a handkerchief border on 16x20” canvas panels with grommets in the corners to create the Faces Not Forgotten quilts for each state. These panels are tied together with black ribbon in sets of 9, 8 portraits for the 8 children that die each day from gun violence and one logo, and exhibited per the wishes of the families: that their children are Not Forgotten.
